100 Books Challenge
I have decided to participate in the challenge hosted by Book Chick City. I must read 100 books in one year. Admittedly, things aren't looking so good right now because I have only read 7 books but I am hoping that over the summer I will read a lot. If you are interested, look at my sidebar and go to her blog to participate.

Matched Review
Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate . . . until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.
The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.
I won this book and was so excited when I got it in the mail. I was going to start reading it right away but I was still reading Entangled so I let my sister borrow it. After she gave it back, I devoured the book. I honestly could not put it down. Cassia's story was intriguing and I must admit at first, the Society seemed like a pretty cool place to live. But as I followed Cassia with Xander and Ky, I realized the true problems with their government. The language was beautiful and I loved that Ally Condie mentioned different poems that really fit well with the book. This is a book I greatly enjoyed and recommend.

17-year-old Grace wakes up in a white room, with a table, pens and paper - and no clue how she got here.
As Grace pours her tangled life onto the page, she is forced to remember everything she's tried to forget. There's falling hopelessly in love with the gorgeous Nat, and the unravelling of her relationship with her best friend Sal. But there's something missing. As hard as she's trying to remember, is there something she just can't see?
Grace must face the most important question of all. Why is she here?
A story of dark secrets, intense friendship and electrifying attraction.
Well, I finished reading this book a while back but I barely got around to writing a review. I have to start out by saying that I love this book. The character of Grace seemed very realistic and even though I am not like her in her way of living, I found that I could relate to her as I got to know her on a more personal level. The plot line was very interesting. I was unsure of what to expect next and had to keep reading to find out. Though some reviews I read said that some things were expected, I thought it was very original and different. I enjoyed learning what Grace had lived through with Sal (her best friend), her mom, and Nat (her boyfriend). The fact that Grace was trying to recall everything that had happened and was really learning some things of her life as the reader was made the book amazing. Overall, I really like this book and recommend it to teen girls everywhere.
